Whoever suggested that we take a theatre production to the Edinburgh Fringe must have been mad...wait, that was me - it's self-induced exhaustion I suppose but I have to work full-time already.
Basically I work five days a week and on my days off I end up writing more of my monologue, Chocolate Cake while acting as production manager at the same time, talking to actors, stage managers and whoever else I need to and I sense more tiredness will come.
Thankfully I found my actor quite quickly, but John in his wonderfully subtle way needed to think about his etc. and has only just confirmed who it's going to be.
The only problem there is with the whole situation is really that we've so much more organising to do and not much time to do it.
Oh, and it's self funded so I can expect to pay about £2000 minimum just to feel exhausted for the next few weeks.
Although I have to say there's a little part of me that can't wait for Edinburgh to see my work on stage (which isn't funny by the way).
